On Saturday July 10th the Drumheller & District Humane Society will be having a BBQ at the Biker Rally downtown in front of Bits and Pieces. The BBQ runs from 11 until 4 and our Adoption Centre will also be open from 11 until 3. Hope to see you there. |

Cat Toys
June is Adopt-a-Rescue-Cat month and our kitties would love some new toys to keep them entertained while they are at the Adoption Centre waiting to meet their new forever families. Donations can be dropped off in our big blue donation bins at Coop and Extra Foods or brought to our Adoption Centre between 11am and 3pm most Saturdays. |

We are always in desperate need of homes willing to foster animals until they find their forever home. We cannot accept the surrender of animals without foster homes in which to place them. Therefore, we are limited in the number of animals we can help by the number of foster homes we have. If you have the space, a little extra time, and a lot of extra love please open your home and heart to an animal in need. Please fill out an application, sign a contract and a consent form to take the first steps in helping to save the lives of many animals.

Our Adoption Centre is open most Saturdays from 11 am to 3 pm. Our centre is located at 471b 3rd Ave W, Drumheller, AB (next to Bernie and the Boys).
The adoption centre will be closed this weekend Saturday July 17th, 2010. We will reopen on Saturday July 24th, 2010. Please come out and see some of the cats that we have available for adoption. |

The Drumheller & District Humane Society was formed in January of 2008. We are a small group of volunteers working out of our homes to save animals in our community.
To become a member please complete this form and mail it to us or bring it to one of our meetings.
The Drumheller & District Humane Society's monthly meetings are at 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month in the A / V room of the Civic Centre. Everyone is welcome. |
